Finesse R810C and Straight Talk Prepaid: Those Were The Days!
Straight Talk Wireless is opening its service up to a whole new demographic by incorporating a pretty nice smarthphone into its service roll out. The phone is the Samsung Finesse R810.
Will the Finesse r810c be a successful phone on the Straight Talk phone wireless platform and will it succeed in bringing new customers into the prepaid wireless company’s fold? It might and it might not. It’s a little bit of a double edged sword in that the phone is a smartphone so it is priced as such. There are many people who won’t hesitate to spend around $300 on a new phone, but many prepaid users will be turned off because it will eat into the savings they get from their prepaid plan.
I think there will be some people interested in the Straight Talk Finesse R810c who would otherwise not be interested in prepaid. This is the main reasoning behind Straight Talk’s decision to sell this phone with its plans.
In the near future we will see more smartphones incorporated into prepaid phone plans–it’s the way the industry is going. As prepaid becomes interesting to more people due to its obvious benefits, more higher end phones will be offered.

You may also have heard of the newest smart phones released by Straight Talk: the Nokia 6790 and the Nokia E71. Both are very good phones that pair very well with the Unlimited plan. You can use all the talk time, text messages, and web browsing that you need. Read a review of both of these new phones here.
Samsung Finesse r810c is a good option for a Straight Talk phone if you do not want a basic phone, but rather want a phone that will make you feel good when you pull it out of your pocket.
I don’t mean this facetiously, but let’s be honest, most of the handsets available on prepaid plans aren’t exactly breaking hearts.
Samsung Finesse r810c Could Be a Game-Changer
But, as I mentioned above, that’s really going to change as the wireless market moves toward more of a hybrid model between post paid and prepaid. We will see more smartphones in the future on prepaid plans because that is simply what people want–cheap service and a technologically advanced phone.
Who wouldn’t want that?
If you want a smartphone on a great prepaid plan (in fact, possibly the best prepaid plan), then get the Samsung Finesse with the Straight Talk unlimited plan and don’t look back. It’s probably the best one-two combo of good phone and great plan there is out there today. Now that Straight Talk Wireless has been around for some time, you can find compatible phones (both new and used) for sale on eBay.
